When something is described as a firewall feature, it is worth knowing whose feature it is. Deep packet inspection, intrusion prevention, gateway anti-malware, content filtering and VPN are functions of the SonicWall product and the subscription attached to it. If a licence lapses, those functions change — and that is a SonicWall licensing matter, not something we control. What you are buying from us is the right choice of model, correct configuration, and someone to call.
Compliance, stated accurately
This gets oversold constantly, so here is the honest version.
HIPAA and PCI DSS are obligations that fall on your organisation. They cover far more than the network: staff training, access control, written policies, physical security, vendor agreements, audit and incident response.
A correctly configured firewall can help satisfy some of the technical network requirements within those frameworks — segmentation, controlled inbound and outbound traffic, logging of access. That is a real contribution, and it is a contribution, not a certification.
We can supply and configure equipment that supports those requirements, and we can put in writing what the configuration does. We cannot certify your organisation as compliant, and neither can any reseller. That is a matter for your compliance officer or a qualified assessor.
Talk to us early rather than late. The right model, the right segmentation and the right logging are much cheaper to get right at the point of purchase than to retrofit after an audit finding.
How buying works
We process orders and enquiries by email. There is no card payment on this website, and no price is charged until a written quote has been agreed.
Number of sites, roughly how many users and devices, your internet speed, whether you need site-to-site or remote access VPN, and anything you must meet for compliance.
Model, licences, subscription term and configuration work, itemised by email. Prices are quoted in US dollars. Nothing is ordered until you say yes in writing.
We order the equipment, configure it for your network, and agree a cutover time. You get the configuration documented and the credentials handed over.
Lead times depend on SonicWall stock and the model ordered. We confirm the expected delivery window in the quote rather than promising a date we do not control.
